RAISING CANE’S DONATES $100,000 TO CHANCE THE RAPPER’S SOCIALWORKS CHARITY
Chance the Rapper to Make an Appearance at Wrigleyville Restaurant to Celebrate the Donation
CHICAGO (September 9, 2024) – Grammy-winning musician and humanitarian, Chance the Rapper, will join Raising Cane’s on Thursday morning to accept a $100,000 donation to his youth-focused charity, SocialWorks. The donation highlights Raising Cane’s commitment to supporting youth empowerment initiatives in Chicago.
Chance, a Chicago native and founder of SocialWorks, will make a special appearance at Raising Cane’s Wrigleyville location from 10-11 a.m. CT to greet fans, serve meals, and officially receive the check. Afterward, he will visit Michele Clark Magnet High School to serve lunch from the Raising Cane’s food truck.
Founded in 2016, SocialWorks supports initiatives in education, mental health, homelessness, and the performing and literary arts, impacting thousands of Chicago’s youth annually.
