Dan Life’s Handset Jordan’s to be Raffled off in Support of SocialWorks’ Kids of the Kingdom initiative

Chance the Rapper’s SocialWorks and groundbreaking Chicago-native artist Dan Life have come together to support the youth of Chicago.  Dan Life creates nostalgic and jeweler-like pieces of wearable art that have become recognized around the globe. For this unique collaboration, he has handset 16,000+ crystals to customize one special pair of Jordans that will be raffled off as a fundraiser to benefit SocialWorks’ Kids of the Kingdom initiative.

Starting Friday 4/29/22 at 12pm CT/10am PT through Saturday, May 14, 2022, fans can go to http://spot.fund/SocialWorksSweeps to enter to win the customized pair of Jordans. One lucky winner will be announced at the end of May 2022 – date to be announced at a later date.

Kids of the Kingdom, better known as K.O.K., originated in 1978 at Emerald Avenue Church of God in Chicago, Illinois by Gladys Bennett. It is because of Gladys we continue to be a voice for children, providing leadership training, recreation, and socialization, which is ministry.

K.O.K. is a faith-based choice-based summer day camp focused on performing and literary arts. While at K.O.K. campers build ownership, social and emotional learning, agency, civic engagement, and growth – academically, behaviorally and socially.

With all of the obstacles that youth must overcome, exposure to an arts, faith, and service curriculum provides a lifeline which results in lasting improvements for the individual and their community.

This collaboration also continues Jordan Brand’s relationship with SocialWorks, which began in late 2017 with the donation of 300 pairs of Air Jordan 11s to SocialWorks ongoing OpenMike event. The shoes were handed out to the students that attended, thus beginning an authentic partnership between the Chicago-based movement by Chance The Rapper and the Jumpman.
