Welcome to The SocialWorks Internship Program!

The SocialWorks Internship is an unpaid 13-week program that provides an opportunity to explore the exciting world of a community based non-profit. Rooted in experience-based learning, guided by SocialWorks staff, we aim to provide an environment that works to develop an individual's skills and talents while providing broad exposure to the daily operations of a high-functioning non-profit. The Program will offer mentoring, a designated internship project, and other enrichment activities.Eligibility CriteriaWe encourage highly motivated applicants who have the drive to serve the community and help others!Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Energetic and enthusiastic individual who can succeed in in a fast-paced, high energy environment
• Ability to succeed while working either independently or in collaborative settings
• Capacity to meet deadlines, manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and provide effective follow-up with staff
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
• Organizational skills
• Dependability, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Familiarity with G Suite
• Assist with the creation and preparation of partnership and fundraising communication materials
• Assist with event logistics and inventory management
• Ability to file and assist in other administrative tasks
• Other duties as assigned

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
